Bridget began her career in 1988, and provides accounting and tax advisory and preparation services to K&A's corporate, educational and individual clients. She is a managing member of the firm's employee benefit plan team, providing audit and administrative related services. Professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from DePaul University and her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. For twenty years, she served as the Assistant Secretary for the Wendy Will Case Cancer Fund, a charity which granted funds to young cancer researchers, and currently volunteers at Eisenhower Junior High School where her son attends.
Courtney works in K&A's accounting department providing bookkeeping services to many of the firm's closely held clients. She also is responsible for all administrative duties required to maintain K&A's licensure status in forty-five plus states.
Karen has been in public accounting since 1997. Since joining K&A, Karen serves as a junior staff associate on governmental audits as well as providing accounting and tax services. A graduate of Trinity Christian College, Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Professional memberships include the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). Outside interests include spending time with her husband and three children and serving as a volunteer with By The Hand Club.
Sue has been with K&A since September 1990, and provides audit, accounting, and tax services. Sue reviews not for profit audits and has contributed fourteen financial statements published across five volumes of PPC’s Nonprofit Financial statement Illustrations and Trends. In addition, she holds the AICPA’s Not For Profit Certification. She is the senior manager of K&A’s employee benefit plan practice, leading plan audits and providing annual accounting services for retirement plans. Additionally, she provides corporate and individual tax services as well as coordinates the Firm’s continuing professional education. Sue also provides research for staff for accounting, tax, and audit issues. Sue is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, with a double major in Accounting and Finance, and a minor in Economics. She has a Masters Degree in Management from Northwestern University. Sue is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Outside of the office Sue enjoys reading, attending the theater, and sewing.
